I was born and raised in San Diego, CA, and I currently attend Westview High School. This is my first internship, and although I do not possess any prior professional experience, I am particularly interested in the fields of medicine pertaining to immunology, neuroscience, and biomedical engineering. I am fascinated with the intricate interactions that occur on a cellular level and am interested in the potential to utilize the field of engineering to optimize treatments within biology. In my free time, I enjoy reading, writing, Speech and Debate, playing the violin, exploring music, and learning alongside others.
